National Holidays

Hello!

For this time I'll write about a topic that I don't really enjoy to talk: The National Holidays of Chile. This event was around 17 September and 20 September, after the 11th September's commemoration. For this reason I don't like how the chilean people celebrates it. In these days I stay at home and share with my family calmly. Mi family isn't chilean and we don't any chilean traditional activities (neither visiting traditional places or family, only friends), but this year  we cooked chilean food and we liked it!

Another activities that I did was going out with a friend, we went to many traditional places where chileans meet for enjoy -called 'fondas'-, but finally we didn't enter or share in one. The fondas are too expensive and don't are really nice (or pleasant). The last days I took academic advantage (in relation with my classmates) because I used the time studying and reading.

And now the most important thing: If I should say that I enjoyed the National Celebrations, I probably say 'yes', because I felt that my 'free time' was nicely employed. I know that these aren't good days for me, but in another dates that aren't related with Chileans Traditions (for example Paraguayan National Holidays) I enjoy a lot.

Finally, I'm not sad after all this, I could smile and share with my classmates. I could be proud about the things that I did, etc... I really like to share with them every different way to enjoy the life, the academic year, and the happiness of the chilean society. I think that's important enjoy these moments.

It's all that I can say about how my 'Chilean National Holidays' were.

September 11th

Hello!

Today, I'm going to write some opinions about this special date. In first place, It's necessary say that I consider myself as someone with political activism, so, my opinion it's the result of my ideology.

The september 11th causes on me a lot of feelins like sadness, determination. But I think that the more important feel is the shock in the envelonment, because all the people, cities and institutions are concerned of the crimes that ocurred 42 years ago. For this reason, I think that the shock is important as a social phenomenon (interesting for social history studies). Our nation can't be quiet while the injustice exist. The chilean State, actually, doesn't care -in my opinion- rightly of this problem in the legislative system, but there're some groups that are funded by the State and they do a lot of projects  related with this date and rise up them.

My opinion about the barricades and violence in this date is relaxed, because I attribute this actions to the social anger caused by the problem that I wrote above. This violence means that the memorie of 42 years ago live in the 'mind of the society', so it's a current topic for the social sciences.

Finally, I think that the new generations (that not lived in the dictatorship) have acquired the memorie and the shock as a social heritage.

It's all my opinion, I'll hope that you could respect it. Bye!

París, my dream city

Hello!

Today I'll write about the city that I'd like to visit: París. In first place, I don't know Europe, but if I have a chance (time or money) to travel there I'd like go to París.
París's that city that evoques in me a positive feelins because I learned french only to travel there. I'd like to know more about the french culture, the french cheeses, the french movies, the french wines, etc; all those things make me dream with this city. If I must choose any place to visit in this city, I think that the "Eiffel Tower" is my choise because is the icon of the city and the envelonment that envolves it looks magic. Also the urban structures produces me curiosity, specially because the streets are circles (and no squares like America and Spain).

Finally, I think that the history of France is important for understand our contemporary situation. Also I must say that are a lot of french sociologist that determinates my interest to travel to France. And if I have to say how much time I'd like to stay there, I probably say "forever".

It's all, thanks for reading n_n
